Know what kind of page you are opening
Taobao and Weidian links usually open marketplace listings, 1688 often leads to a supplier page, and Yupoo commonly opens an image catalog. That context helps you know where to look for options, measurements, prices, or a source reference. It does not tell you whether the item is good.
Keep the original URL beside any converted link. If the converted route later changes or hides important details, the original gives you a way back to the page you actually reviewed. It still does not prove availability, option accuracy, seller reliability, or product quality.
1. Identify the exact page before judging the item
Begin with four fields: source named on the page, visible shop or album name, product title, and original URL. This sounds basic, but it prevents a common problem: a saved note describes one item while the link later opens a different variation, album, or unavailable page.
Do not use the marketplace name as a quality label. Taobao, Weidian, 1688, and Yupoo describe different page contexts, but the useful question remains the same: does this page provide enough current information about the exact candidate?

2. Match the exact variant
Record the color, size, model, set, material option, and any product code before comparing price or photos. A listing can contain several products under one URL, and the most attractive image or lowest number may not describe the option you intend to review.
- The selected option name matches my note.
- The displayed price can be tied to that option.
- The size chart or specification belongs to this listing version.
- The product photos show the same shape, color, and included pieces.
- I know whether domestic shipping, minimum quantity, or add-ons affect the comparison.
3. Keep seller context separate from product evidence
Seller history, store information, comments, and current policies can add context, but they do not replace product-level checks. A well-presented shop can still have a vague listing; a detailed listing does not guarantee the later transaction.
4. Treat converters and redirects as routing tools
A converted link may be convenient, but it can remove visible source context or stop working later. Save the original marketplace URL whenever possible. Check the destination domain before entering account or payment information, and do not treat a successful redirect as evidence that the item or seller has been verified.
5. Make one of three decisions
The link and note describe different items, the destination is unclear, or the exact option cannot be identified.
The item appears relevant, but a size chart, option price, material detail, or source context is missing.
The exact item and option are clear, useful details are visible, and the remaining question is recorded.
